The first problem is the confusion about LED lights and LED lights. With the official implementation of the EN62560:2012 version, the EU has a uniform standard for LEDLamp. The EN62560 standard is translated into Chinese as the safety requirement for LED self-ballasted lamps. It is aimed at LED light sources (LEDLamp) such as LED bulbs, LED spotlights, etc., which directly replace incandescent bulbs. It is characterized by built-in LED driver , and the lamp holder is connected to the mains with standard lamp heads such as E27 or E40 or GU10. The driving power of the LED lamp can be built-in or externally, and the light source can be an LEDLamp, or the LED light engine can be directly used as a light source. The LED light source engine can be connected to the mains by the drive power source, or it can be directly connected to the mains without working. The standard for LED luminaires first needs to refer to EN60598-1 and then to determine the applicable special standards, such as the most common LED downlights, according to the installation method or use of the luminaire, the standard of which is EN60598-1/EN60598-2-2. Consider the safety performance of the LED module EN62031.

When we can distinguish the difference between LED lights and LED lamps, it is easy to understand the applicable standards.

The second question, the LED lamp or LED luminaire test project does not understand. On the one hand, it is easy to confuse safety requirements with performance requirements or electromagnetic compatibility requirements. On the other hand, it is always taken for granted that LED lamps have some very special test items. It's forgiven here. I know that most of us who work in the LED industry are not engineers, and we don't need or need to make it clear. However, it is still necessary to establish some of the most basic concepts. For example, if there is insufficient creepage distance on the product structure and the product does not pass the pressure, this is a requirement in the safety test. If the product's radiation, conduction, lightning strikes or harmonics do not pass, it is a project in electromagnetic compatibility. Luminous flux, color temperature, and light distribution intensity are of course part of optical performance.

In addition, the most important test item for LEDs should be an assessment of energy consumption. We keep saying how LEDs are energy-saving and environmentally friendly, we must have facts and rely on data to speak. The first basic requirement of LED energy efficiency certification is the maximum power P consumed when generating the rated luminous flux under the premise of ensuring product safety and not causing electromagnetic interference to the outside world. This P value should at least reach A in the ERP level. Grade; The second most basic requirement is that the reported loss rate is less than 5% after 1000 hours of normal lighting. Of course, there are many other requirements for energy certification.
