The demonstration project of the transmission of power transmission from Huai'nan to Shanghai to the UHV AC transmission project in Shanghai is a landmark project for the application of large-scale UHV AC transmission technology in China. It starts from the Huainan substation in Anhui Province, passes through Anhui, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu, and ends at the Huxi Substation in Shanghai. The project has a capacity of 21 million kVA and a total line length of 648.7 kilometers, representing the highest level of international high-voltage AC transmission technology development, equipment manufacturing and engineering applications.

It has the characteristics of low loss, low noise, small size, and no local overheating, marking China's first single-phase single-column type. 1000kV UHV reactor was born. On September 25, 2013, the product was successfully put into operation.
