Hey everyone,
I just got back from the Huawei Connect Conference, and it was a fantastic experience! This year's theme is "Grow with Cloud," emphasizing how the cloud is leading the future. They really emphasized how last year they focused on shaping the cloud, but this year, it's all about taking it further—whether it’s digital transformation, cloud computing, or AI, all aimed at solving our business challenges.
Suo Dayong, Vice President of Huawei Marketing, put it beautifully when he said, “This year’s theme is ‘Grow with Cloud,’ and the cloud leads the future. Last year we shaped the cloud. We are more emphatic this year, whether it is digital, cloud, or artificial intelligence, how to help solve our business problems.â€
At the conference, Huawei brought together ICT industry leaders, global partners, and business experts to discuss how digitalization can drive growth. It was also a chance to showcase some of the most innovative industry solutions. The agenda was packed: the first day focused on cloud technology, the second day delved into industry-specific solutions, and the third day was all about partnership and ecosystem building.
One of the highlights for me was the lineup of speakers. Many of Huawei’s top executives were there, sharing insights and experiences. For instance, the President of Huawei Cloud BU, the President of Huawei Products and Solutions, and the President of Huawei Enterprise BG Industry Markets and Solutions were all present to engage with attendees.
Now, let’s talk about some of the big names in attendance. Out of the 197 Fortune 500 companies, 45 of the top 100 have partnerships with Huawei. There were plenty of familiar faces from various industries. But one partner stood out to me—it’s Shanghai Sansi. Yes, I know I mentioned it thrice because they’re just that impressive! They had an incredible booth at C18 in Hall N4. They showcased smart streetlights and a variety of small-pitch LED displays. Honestly, their innovations blew my mind!
The conference covered 12 different vertical industries, each presenting cutting-edge case studies. Smart cities were a major focus, with examples like intelligent operation centers, safe city projects, smart parks, and urban intelligent transportation systems. I’m really excited to dig deeper into these areas and engage with industry peers to learn more.

If you're planning to attend next time, getting to the New International Expo Center is easy. By subway, take Line 7 to Huamu Road Station, exit via Exit 1, and follow the signs to the entrance hall of the center. If you're coming from Pudong Airport, you can take the Maglev or Metro Line 2 to Longyang Road and then walk about 1 km.
