The Hisense booth spans a vast area, though its construction is still ongoing. Despite this, we managed to catch a glimpse of some groundbreaking new technologies, including 8K TVs and laser TVs. But what truly captivated us was their innovative wireless split TV concept.

This revolutionary Hisense TV splits into two distinct parts: the screen and the main unit. The screen itself is incredibly slim and looks perfect when mounted on a wall, thanks to its ultra-thin bezel design. The screen-to-body ratio is impressive, with the lower section of the main unit being a sleek black cuboid. A silver disc in the center likely serves as a control interface for the TV, either for changing channels or adjusting volume. The design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

One of the most intriguing aspects of this TV is the absence of any visible cables connecting the screen to the main unit. While we initially assumed Bluetooth might be the technology behind this wireless connection, we quickly realized that Bluetooth 4.0’s 3 Mbps data rate isn’t sufficient for seamless video transmission. This means Hisense must have developed some proprietary wireless solution to ensure smooth performance, something we’re eager to learn more about.

Another standout product from Hisense was their Laser TV, a technology that continues to gain traction in the market. Additionally, Hisense showcased their 8K TV model, the LED65MU9800V. This TV shares a similar aesthetic with last year’s 4K flagship model, the LEDMU9600U, but the 8K resolution takes visual clarity to another level. Watching content on this TV, even with the naked eye, reveals no trace of pixelation. The depth and three-dimensional quality of the images are extraordinary. As 8K becomes increasingly mainstream, Hisense’s efforts in this space are certainly promising.
