Polycrystalline sillicon (also called: polysilicon, poly crystal, poly-Si or also: multi-Si, mc-Si) are manufactured from cast square ingots, produced by cooling and solidifying molten silicon. The liquid silicon is poured into blocks which are cut into thin plates. The solidification of the material results into cells that contain many crystals, making the surface of the poly-Si/ mc-Si cell less perfect than its mono-Si counterpart. Due to these defects, polycrystalline cells absorb less solar energy, produce consequently less electricity and are thus less efficient than monocrystalline silicon (mono-Si) cells. Due to their slightly lower efficiency, poly-Si/ mc-Si cells are conventionally a bit larger, resulting in comparably larger PV modules, too. This factor has to be considered if space is limited. Nevertheless, the advantage of poly-Si/ mc-Si cells is that they are easier and thus cheaper to produce. On September 25th, Hisense Smart Home officially launched the latest Hi-Smart 2.2 system, marking a major step forward in smart home technology. This highly anticipated update builds upon the previous Hi-Smart 2.1 version, focusing on enhancing multi-dimensional intelligent interaction. The new system introduces six different smart interaction methods and brings ten new product series to the market, offering consumers a more convenient and intelligent living experience.
The release of Hi-Smart 2.2 is a significant boost for the smart home industry, accelerating the evolution of smart interaction technologies. With this upgrade, users can now control their smart devices through mobile phones, TVs, tablets, smart robots, scene panels, and video intercom systems—making home automation more accessible and seamless than ever before.
One of the standout features of Hi-Smart 2.2 is its advanced voice control capabilities. The newly introduced smart robot offers powerful voice recognition and semantic understanding, enabling hands-free operation and improving user convenience. Users can now manage other Hisense smart home devices with simple voice commands, while the robot also provides real-time updates on device status, making smart home management more intuitive and efficient.
Another key improvement is cross-brand compatibility. Hisense Smart Home has broken down traditional brand barriers by integrating products from well-known brands like Hikvision. This allows for greater interoperability among smart devices, giving consumers access to a broader range of smart home solutions that better meet their diverse needs.
In addition to improved voice control and cross-brand support, Hi-Smart 2.2 also enhances the functionality of existing appliances. For example, the boss smoke stove now features magnetic levitation technology for palm hover control, and the Macro gas X7 central water heater has been optimized for temperature adjustment and status display. These upgrades aim to provide a more personalized and comfortable living experience.
The system also improves home security with enhanced smart door locks that support fingerprint, password, proximity card, and key-based unlocking. A standalone photo-inductive smoke alarm has been added to automatically alert users when smoke levels reach dangerous thresholds, ensuring a safer living environment.
For convenience, Hi-Smart 2.2 supports wireless control of curtain motors, roller shutters, and window openers, allowing users to manage these devices through pre-set scenes or remote control via the Huisongjia app. This level of integration simplifies daily tasks and enhances overall comfort.
In terms of entertainment, the system now allows users to remotely control home theater equipment and enjoy background music across multiple zones using the Huisongjia app. It also integrates with fire alarm systems to alert users immediately in emergencies, further enhancing safety and convenience.
Overall, the Hi-Smart 2.2 system represents a major leap forward in smart home innovation. Compared to previous versions, it’s not just an upgrade but a transformation into a true multi-dimensional smart interaction platform. With its enhanced usability and expanded functionality, Hisense Smart Home is setting a new standard in the smart home industry, bringing smarter, more connected, and more convenient living experiences to users worldwide.
