2007 is an important year in the development of the lighting electrical industry. In this year, the industry has made remarkable progress in many aspects, and wrote a lot of highlights for the realization of the development plan of the lighting electrical industry during the 11th Five-Year Plan period. Looking at the overall development of the industry, the lighting electrical industry has outstanding performance in eight aspects, reflecting the development direction of the lighting electrical industry.
First, the industrial cluster operation has been strengthened.
The lighting electrical industry has formed a number of industrial bases, large and small, in China, reflecting the obvious clustering characteristics. This has been recognized by industry authorities. In October 2007, the Torch High-tech Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology awarded the plaque of “National Torch Plan Zhongshan Guzhen Lighting Equipment Design and Manufacturing Industry Base†to Guzhen, and the Guzhen Lighting Industry Cluster was finally recognized and supported by the central government; In the month, China Lighting Association awarded the honorary title of “China Lighting City†to Zouqu Town, Changzhou City. Zou District’s position in the lighting electrical industry was officially recognized by the industry. In the same year, Foshan and Fuyang successively applied to the state for the qualification of the national electric light source industrial base. There are also some counties and towns such as Jianhu, Xinzhuang, Liangnong, Guoji, and Henglan, which have made the lighting and electrical industry develop as a local leading industry. At the beginning of this year, Leliu Street in Shunde District has confirmed that it is the regional brand of “China Lighting Capital†(tentative name) with Leliu lighting as the main body. It can be expected that a few years later, in areas other than Zhongshan and even Guangdong, there will be a cluster of lighting appliances with a relatively large scale.
Second, the energy-saving lamps entered the popularization stage.
In 2007, as the government paid more attention to the significance of energy conservation and emission reduction, various measures were taken to promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and the promotion of energy-saving lamps became a key project. In 2007, energy-saving lamps were widely used by many government agencies, commercial organizations and public facilities to replace traditional light bulbs. Zhejiang Sunshine Group Co., Ltd., a leading domestic energy-saving lamp company, launched the “Energy Conservation Pioneer Action†to promote energy-saving lamps in urban and rural areas free of charge. Gansu Province took the lead in promoting 1 million energy-saving lamps in the party and government organs of the province. National authoritative media such as People's Daily and Economic Daily have vigorously advocated the promotion of energy-saving lamps. In the attention of all walks of life, the central government began planning to promote energy-saving lamps by means of financial subsidies last spring. On December 28, 2007, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission promulgated the Interim Measures for the Administration of Financial Subsidy Funds for Efficient Lighting Products Promotion (Cai Jian [2007] No. 1027), officially promulgating the government's efforts to promote the popularization of energy-saving lamps. Powerful measures have paved the way for the rapid spread of energy-saving lamps in China. The "Measures" stipulate that for each high-efficiency lighting product of the large-scale users, the central government will subsidize 30% of the supply price of the winning bid agreement; for each efficient lighting product of urban and rural residents, the central government will subsidize 50% of the supply price of the winning bid. Listed companies in the lighting and electrical industry have issued announcements, saying that this move is beneficial to the business activities of the company.
