This design mainly realizes that the LED display changes its brightness with the ambient light to avoid the daytime display is unclear or the night is too bright and dazzling; and communicates with the host computer. The system consists of MSP430F169 MCU, 16* 32 common anode LED dot matrix display, row drive circuit, column drive circuit, ambient light adaptive circuit, digital switch voltage regulation circuit and DC voltage regulator source circuit. The data is sent in parallel by column, and the display of the LED dot matrix screen content is realized by the line scanning method; the single chip microcomputer realizes the automatic adjustment of the LED dot matrix screen power supply voltage through the digital switch voltage regulating circuit, so that the screen brightness automatically changes with the ambient light.

LED dot matrix displays are very common in life and bring a lot of convenience to our lives. Since the brightness of the LED display cannot be changed with the ambient light, there is a problem that the daytime display is unclear or the night is too bright and dazzling. If you can control its brightness, you can not only save energy, but also make the display of the display more clear. This design introduces the ambient light adaptive LED display controlled by the MSP430F169 single-chip microcomputer system, which can automatically adjust the brightness according to the intensity of the ambient light to avoid the daytime display is unclear or the night is too bright and dazzling, and with the host computer Communication. 1, system structure block diagram

The system is mainly composed of MSP430F169 single-chip microcomputer system, buck rectifier filter circuit, voltage regulator circuit, switching voltage regulator circuit, RS485 communication interface circuit, LED row and column drive circuit, ambient light detection circuit, LED display, upper PC computer and so on.
