Depending on the type of goods and their size and quality, the way goods are stacked on the pallet should be reasonably determined. The utilization of the pallet’s carrying surface should generally not be less than 80%. Here are some key requirements for proper palletizing:
1. Hard, solid, or multi-layer goods in wooden, paper, or metal containers, such as single or multi-layer interlocking stacking, wrapped with stretch or shrink film.
2. Paper or fiber products should be stacked in multiple layers and secured with strapping tape.
3. Sealed metal containers or cylindrical goods should be stacked in one or more layers, with wooden covers for reinforcement.
4. Moisture-proof or waterproof paper products, textiles, and similar items should be stacked in single or multi-layer interlocking patterns, with added corner supports and reinforced covers.
5. Fragile goods should be stacked in a single or multi-layer arrangement, with wooden support partitions for added stability.
6. Metal cylinders or cylindrical containers should be stacked straight, with box and slat reinforcements for better structural integrity.
